From 2023 through to 2025, as part of Mirror Media, we took over the social channels for Michelin Guide restaurant Harborne Kitchen.
The project began with a proposed brand identity and guide branding for the Instagram page by myself, using Google Chrome's inspect element feature to create a mock-up of the design I had envisioned. I wanted to have a three post structure, where the middle post would be a black and white image, often of staff members, to celebrate the work they do and introduce them to the people visiting the page. These would then be sandwiched by two generic posts about the menu and food available that would follow a blue colour scheme to match the companies branding.
Once this was pitched and accepted the account was handed over to us, and the rebrand could begin. I created specialised Story Highlight covers, as well as new covers for the existing Reels on the page, I then created the base design for the posting system which could then be updated and tweaked as needed. I also created additional images that could be sent out with their email newsletter to potential and recurring customers.
Sadly, in January 2026 Harborne Kitchen announced their permanent closure.
